Let's face it - The road is a dangerous place, but it's your job to foresee the risks and take the necessary action to minimize the potential threats.

Imagine the following scenario:

You are right beside/behind a tractor trailer when a tire blows. What happens next?

9. Truck crashes spilling trailer contents.
10. Driver & company immediately in trouble with the law, insurance company & customer(s).
11. Passerby's rubberneck at another truck involved in a mishap. Results are a tarnished image.
12. Driver faces loss of present & future employment.
13. Expensive repairs & lengthy downtime.
14. Expensive litigation.
15. Another political coffin nail.
16. CDL at risk.
17. Future employment opportunities at risk.
18. May not meet delivery schedule and may lose customer(s) due to downtime.
19. Another environmentally ugly and dangerous hwy alligator is born and lies in wait for unsuspecting vehicles.
20. Professional drivers don't run over these monstrosities. But, at night, these critters cannot be seen until it's too late. Consequently, if you run over one your professional record/image at best becomes tarnished.
21. What if you run over one of these hideous creatures and it rips out your fuel line?
22. Can you imagine what happens to a automobile that runs over one of these beasties?
